An Overdue Post (Part 6 - Salzburg)

It's been almost 3 years since my last blog post and more than 10 years since my graduation trip to Europe. But here I am still trying to finish posting from the trip! Please see below the previous posts from the series.

Now let's get onto Part 7. When I was still in Japan planning the trip, in my head I was only imagining The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany as countries to visit during my 9 days in Europe. However, Nadia told me we could do a day trip to Salzburg, Austria from Munich, so I said why not?

Honestly I no longer remember much about the details from the trip. Like I said earlier, it's been more than 10 years ago. But, I do remember that I had a very nice impression of the places and thought the city was beautiful, offering different atmospheres than the other cities I visited in the trip. Luckily we have photos to look back and I would like to share bit of them here.

We went to major tourist attractions, such as Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace Garden. Too bad it was winter so we could not enjoy pretty flowers in the garden. We also strolled around the Getreidegasse and took picture in front of Mozart's birthplace, crossed the Makartsteg Bridge while peeking into some of the locks hang by couples making the bridge known as "Love Lock Bridge".
