You Can't Have Enough Of It

Bought myself a new pair of sneakers yesterday :) All white, so classic and I love it a lot! Got a pair of mint color shoe laces too and I also bought another pair of shoe laces in purple. Yeay!

As many as other ladies out there in the world, I do love fashion items! Although I may not be so stylist in my everyday look, in fact I tend to be simple, but it doesn't pull me away from the excitements when I see a pretty dress, a nice bag or a gorgeous pair of shoes.

But I should admit that I might have more love for shoes than any other fashion items. I remember when I was a high school student, there're many times when I wanted a pair of shoes so bad that I had to persuade my parents to buy me ones. Of course my parents didn't buy me each time I started to persuade them. First, there're no as many occasions to put those shoes on. Second, my parents wanted to tell me that I should learn to think of the poor who may not have a decent pair of shoes at all.

Now that I've started to earn my own money, sometimes I just couldn't help myself when I have to face pretty shoes at the stores. But I have a principle about shoes, I wouldn't trade comfort for beauty! So no matter how beautiful a shoes is, if it hurts to put on, then leave it at all. I've experienced fails about this though. There were times when I put the shoes on at the store, it felt fine even when I tried to walk around with both sides on. But when I put them in real life, doing everyday stuff, then when it passed afternoon my feet would start to itching. It's either because there's a blister on my foot or the heels were just damn uncomfortable. Sometimes in the worst case, I would end up to never put these shoes on again. That is why, I've been extra careful when choosing a pair of shoes. I don't want to waste money for nothing.

So, who doesn't have love for shoes? :p

I have nothing to do today. I planned to go to the pool and swim for an hour, but when i got there, it was still on cleaning process. So finally i went back home with a bit upset. Why i was upset? Because i've been riding my bicycle through the cold weather but it ended that way. Huh. Anyway, finally i just sat in front of my laptop and felt my mood was into lookleting. Japanese New Year SALE

I think we all know that during new year there are usually a lot of SALE everywhere. They put discount even up to 80%. I remember when i was in Indonesia, i often went to the mall before or after new year to enjoy the big sale.

I just had my first new year few days ago (ok, maybe not really first time, since i have also been here for about 3 years when i was a kid). I just discovered something unique here related to the big sale. In Japan, there are a lot of stores which sell Japan local brand (i mean not such international brand) and believe me the their products are quite expensive (since the production is really in Japan, not in china or india or anywhere else, we can say that the quality is very trusted). Now something that i mean unique before is, those local brand stores almost every new year sell a happy bag called FUKUBUKURO. 

Any of you know what fukubukuro is? So those stores, beside selling their products as usual, they also sell something like a set of clothes (or anything else), they put that set of clothes inside a (mostly) cool bag (or even a suitcase). But most of the stores don't let us to know what are inside the bag. So, it's a kind of luck. You may get all the stuffs good as you deserved, or maybe some of the stuffs may disappoint you, or the worst is that you don't like any of them. The stores sell the fukubukuro in some prices depend on how many item inside the bag. But the choices of the fukubukuro's prices are mostly  10,000yen or 5,000yen (without tax). But don't worry, if you dare enough, the real total price of the items inside the bag may be worth 5-10 times than the price of the fukubukuro.

Yesterday i went to Shibuya to enjoy the new year sale. Many long queue in front of many stores (trust me it's so weird. i never saw something like this before in indonesia). But this year i couldn't challenge myself to buy any of the fukubukuro. For me now, it's too risky buying something which i don't have any idea what are they for 10,000yen (i need to go to morning baito for 5 days to collect that much money..hehe). But mba rani (my senior), finally challenged herself this year and bought one fukubukuro. And she's so lucky. The items inside the bag are good. And also mba desy (another senior who already graduated then stay in japan), she also got many good items from the fukubukuro.

Me? I bought something. Yes, really. And i bought an item which i didn't plan to buy, but since there was a very great offer so i decided to buy and let myself poor. What is that special item? I'll let you know later :)

One Stressful Week Has Passed

Yes, the burden that i brought the whole week preparing for the japanese language proficiency test has already gone away. Well, even though i can't say that i'm happy enough about it, because the test was almost killing me. Too many unfamiliar words on the vocabulary test. Bad headache suddenly made me suffered during the last few minutes of test.

Oh well, now i can only wish for miracle so that i could pass the JLPT level 3.

Despite all the bad things about the test, i couldn't let myself to leave the beautiful spot without taking any picture. LOL.

Extra Comfy Purple Slipper

Love my new slipper so much. Actually i bought this pair of slipper few months ago, but i never used them before. And i just decided to use them today and i found out that they're so comfy :) and of course the purple color make them so perfect for me :)

My First Boots

Last Tuesday i had a sudden shopping day with my senior, ayu. Suddenly we decided to go to Shimokitazawa. Then we found that many shoes store were having sale, especially boots sale. So we took a look and tried some pairs of boots. I wasn't really sure whether i would buy or not. So besides asking ayu's opinion about my boots choice, i also took a photo of the boots secretly and sent mms to my another senior, mba rani. And then after she received the photo, she called me and told me to buy. So finally i bought that pair of boots. And do you know what? This pair of boots is my first boots. And today is the first time i use my boots. There is an International Student Forum in my campus which was holding a small halloween party and my friend asked me to go. But i don't have any costume and i never been to halloween party before. So i just dress as usual, but since it is so cold today, i wore my coat and also used my boots.

The Prize for Winning Looklet Styling Contest

Still remember with Looklet Styling Contest that i joined few weeks ago? You can refresh your memory here. Since my style was the most being voted by people, so i won that contest. And the prize would be Ludic fur jacket which was being the theme of the contest. I was happy but worried in the same time. I wondered how it would be if the size of the jacket is too big. Because as i remembered, looklet team didn't ask me the size.

And when i just got back to my dorm from classes, then i found my name was written on the board, which means there's a package for me. So i quickly went to the dorm-man and asked for my package. And yeah just like what i thought, it's from looklet.

Batik Day :D

Just arrived in Tokyo on Wednesday, September 30th. The trip was fine even though my flight from Jakarta to Denpasar had to be delayed. Thanks God this trip was a lot better than the last trip i had. So i didn't feel disappointed anymore.

Being already in Tokyo doesn't mean i couldn't wear batik today. Of course as a nice Indonesian, batik is my dresscode for a whole day (well, except now. as i already in my room and wear my pajamas). Got few photos to post but not really good shots actually.

Anyway, today my college activities start. But i didn't go to morning baito this morning. I was too sleepy. And also rainy day makes me feel too lazy to go out. Still, i had to go out, cuz i had three classes from the 9 am till 5.30 pm. What a long day.

Planning to continue doing my report assignment, but still hard to start. Euuww. What a lazy me!

My New Kulkith Shoes

Well, i'm not always publishing a post each time i have i new pair of shoes. But this time, since i've been waiting for having it for quite long time. So i can't hold on my desire to publish it here. Hehe.

Yeah, at the first time, i knew about Kulkith shoes from Diana Rikasari's blog when she got a pair of shoes from it. Then i started to look for it in facebook. I was totally interested to have one of it. Then i asked mba Agnes (Kulkith owner) about the shipping fee. I was rethinking to buy it when i knew that the shipping fee costs double from the price of the shoes themselves. So i delayed to buy it. And about a week before my trip going home to Indonesia, i contacted mba Agnes and made an order. And finally here is my new Kulkith Shoes.. ^^

A Long Queue In Front Of Forever21 Store

This Forever21 store was open in Harajuku about few months ago. So actually this shop is quite new there. But, what makes me really shock is when i went to Harajuku and passed that store, there was a very long queue in front of it. I think, because there're so many people wanted to come in, so the store decided to limit the number of people who could come in for each period. Yeah, i understand why. Once i went to Forever21 store, it was so crowded so that i couldn't even enjoy looking for any stuff there.

Indonesia I'm Coming :)

I'm so excited because i'm going back to Indonesia next Monday. Two more days! Well, honestly i'm not missing my home that bad. Since i just left 4 months ago. But i think it's better to go home this summer holiday than to wait until next year's summer holiday, isn't it? Because if i choose to wait, it means that i need to wait one and a half year. Oh, i don't think i can make it.
If i looked back on how was my effort to save the money for buying the ticket, i feel like how miserable i was. On weekend, i tried not to go to some places where i might spend money for something which was not necessary in my priority that time. So i spent couples of boring weekends on the last two months by staying in my dorm. Besides that, every morning i tried hard to wake up early in order to go for morning baito. Yeah, it was so good because i could go every morning last month.
Luckily i could save some money for buying the ticket. I can't wait to see my boyfriend. He's gonna pick me up at the airport. I miss him sooo much. I also miss my family especially my lil brother. And of course i miss my besties whom i used to chat many things with.
Anyway, i'm not really good in 'packing' session. So now i'm a bit confused. Well i hope it could be done tomorrow.

Shopping at Shimokitazawa

Last Saturday, me and my friend went to an elementary school to be guest speakers in english club. Then me and my friend also did Cendrawasih dance and taught those elementary school students a basic pose of Bali dance. It was very interesting. I like Kumi-chan. She's so cute. She couldn't stop talking. But sometimes i couldn't understand because she spoke so fast.

On the way home, we dropped by at Shimokitazawa, and found out that there's sale! Finally i bought a pair of purple heels. Hehe.

Uhh yeaahh..
Today i went to Shimokiazawa again! Together with my senpai, Mba Rani, we went there at wednesday afternoon. What a perfect day! Hehehe..

Even now i'm in a condition of run out of money, but i can't hold my desire to buy a unique pants that i found at one store in Shimokitazawa. At the first time, i decided to leave the store without buying that pants. But after going around Shimokitazawa, finally i went back to that store and bought that pants. Hehe. Relief cuz finally i got that pants, but then a bit worried of how life would be some weeks later. Well, i hope i'm gonna be okay. Hehe.

This kind of weather is so perfect for having a good long sleep. Ahahaha. Unfortunately it's not Sunday, but it's Monday. I have a lot of things to do. Starts from morning baito until the financial statement's course. It's a long day for sure.
Now, i'm having my break time after done with Japanese review test. Oh my God. The listening section was so hard. The speakers talked so fast so that i did not even recognize what they were saying. But i hope i'll get a good mark for this test.
Anyway, today i feel like a kite. Why? Because i wear such a outfit like this (like kite) while the wind is quite blowing.

I'm 19 years old. And i just bought my FIRST mascara!

ahaha.
I don't know why but i just feel like, euuww, maybe those girls around town had already bought their first mascara on their earlier ages than me.
The reason why i never had mascara before, because in my previous university, Bogor Agricultural University, i never saw the girls doing some make up touch on their face. Maybe they just use such compact powder. So i always think twice before i want to have some make up on my face.
In my previous university, i used to use only moisturizer and baby powder on my face, and purple or brown eye liner, and lip balm sometimes.
But now, here in Tokyo, in my present university, every girls here do so much efforts with their make up. So, i just started to think about buying a new mascara, hehe. And finally i bought it yesterday after finishing the last course.
